The reason is simple: they were all at the funky Upper Eastside Hotel in Woodstock for the biggest, most spectacular event of the year: the Cosmopolitan Lingerie Show 2011 hosted in association with Revlon. The energy was electric as 900 guests mingled with celebs, models and media moguls, champagne flowed, and the country's most magnificent models hit the runway in exquisite ensembles of satin, feathers and lace.

The annual and highly anticipated 67-page lingerie supplement in the September issue of COSMOPOLITAN showcased the top lingerie brands which sashayed down the catwalk, while SA favourites Adeline Mocke, Arno Carstens and Albert Frost got the party started with some rocking live performances. Guests partied late into the night as the hottest party of the year was bigger, better and more spectacular than ever before. If you missed it, you missed out.

On the 25th of August the Ard Matthews & Friends MyLife Benefit Concert was held at the stunning Upper Eastside Hotel in Cape Town and what a special night it was. All proceeds go to the MYLIFE Foundation Ubuntu Villages which is a really worthy cause that aims at making a difference in the lives of children and giving them a opportunity at life and allowing them to experience the same love and joy that we do. With performances by Ard Matthews, Jack Parrow, Zolani Mahola, and Louise Day South Africa's top artists supported the MyLifE Foundation.

Cosmopolitan's popular Lingerie fashion show opened with a dramatic theatrical display at one of Cape Town's hottest new venues, Upper Eastside in Woodstock. The event was attended by over 800 partygoers and by the end of the show the catwalk was literally on fire. Sixteen models from four different countries participated in this year's Cosmopolitan Lingerie fashion show, modelling the latest lingerie wear from brands such as Triumph, Sloggi, Jockey, Temptations, Playtex, Maidenform, Shelly, Wonderbra, Free2BU and After Eden, and retailers Foschini and Woolworths.


Cosmopolitan's popular Lingerie issue is out each September and this issue gives readers 65 pages of the latest and hottest lingerie available in South Africa. Published in association with Hoity Toit from Lenthéric, the issue showcases all the latest underwear from brands such as Triumph, Sloggi, Jockey, Temptations, Playtex, Maidenform, Shelly, Wonderbra, Free2BU and After Eden, and retailers Foschini and Woolworths.
